Best decision I made for my flying
Spent time with Damien in Valle de Bravo and it was everything I hoped for. The coaching is next level - having him on the radio calling thermals and correcting my centering in real time made a bigger difference than years of flying on my own. Conditions were good almost every day and we flew twice a day most days. El Penon delivers. Already planning my next trip back.

Skills improved drastically
I gained a huge confidence boost and saw my flying mentality and my piloting skills improve drastically over the course of the week. The combination of daily flying, radio coaching, and evening debriefs created a learning environment that would take months to replicate at my home site.

Weeklong thermaling clinic. The combination of ground school, launch support, and in-sky coaching provided an incredibly valuable learning experience. The accommodations and hospitality made for a great overall experience.

Third trip to Utah
Third trip to Utah with Damien. Every time I come back I learn something new. This time I regretted not flying Jupiter when conditions were right - next time for sure. Damien knows every site in the Wasatch and always puts you in the best position to fly well.
Annual Utah visit
Annual Utah visit with Damien. Van camping, flew at every opportunity. Whether it was dawn patrol at the Point or chasing thermals at Steep Mountain, Damien always had a plan and always had our backs on the radio.

First time paragliding and the instructor was incredibly patient. Answered all my questions, never made me feel rushed, and helped me understand what was happening every step of the way.

The scariest part of the trip was driving up the switchbacks. Once we were on launch, everything was smooth. Great instruction, great conditions, and thanks for the doughnuts.
